Features

  • Sprite Multiplexing

Using carefully raster-synchronised code, each player was made of 3 x 3 sprints (total 18) produced by reusing 6 sprints with very rapid changes of position and content at specific vertical offsets.

  • Involvement

As a full time employee of Melbourne House, developed the sprint multiplexing system and other graphical features of the game. Also developed the tools used to edit the sprite graphics and the "Missing Link" hardware and software which allowed us to develop games on the BBC micros and transfer them to/from a Commodore 64 using a specialised cartridge and cable that connect to the BBC printer port..
